Global Broadmead

From 1 June to 26 July, Global Broadmead will celebrate the area’s international spirit, shining a spotlight on the countries, cultures, and people that shape the heart of the city’s shopping district.

The campaign brings together a programme of cultural events, live performances, music, sport and community activities across Broadmead and Cabot Circus. Launching with Sparks’ International Cultural Festival, followed by the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and International Make Music Day, Global Broadmead will create opportunities for people to discover new cultures, connect with local communities and celebrate Bristol’s global identity.

Alongside a series of events and activations, the campaign will shine a spotlight on the area’s rich mix of international restaurants, cafés, shops and independent traders, showcasing the people, stories and traditions that continue to shape Broadmead’s evolving identity. Global Broadmead will encourage visitors to eat, drink, and shop their way around the world without having to leave Broadmead.

Global Broadmead is part of Bristol BID’s wider Love Bristol, Love Broadmead project, celebrating the cultures, communities and independent businesses that make Broadmead one of Bristol’s most vibrant and diverse destinations.

Broadmead Bites

Through our new Instagram series ‘Broadmead Bites’, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the international restaurants, cafés and shops that make Broadmead one of Bristol’s most vibrant destinations.

Over the next six weeks, we’ll be meeting the people behind the businesses, sharing their stories and celebrating the flavours and cultures they bring to our city.

Make sure you follow us on socials to discover the people, stories and flavours that make Broadmead so special.
