Ritorno Lounge choose TAP for Bristol as their chosen charity for LoungeAid 2026
Every June, each Lounge around the country picks a charity close to their heart, fundraising for them throughout the month.
This year, Ritorno Lounge chose TAP for Bristol, an initiative from Bristol BID in partnership with Caring in Bristol, which aims to help those living with or facing homelessness in our community by installing donation points around the city, making donating easy, safe & secure, and ensuring all donations go to local Bristol charities.
As part of LoungeAid, the Harbourside bar and restaurant have thought up various novel fundraising ideas. Last week, they held their regular monthly market where market stall holders donated a portion of their sales to TAP for Bristol.
On Sunday 21 June, the team at Ritorno Lounge will be baking sweet and savoury treats, with all proceeds being donated, so head down and grab a bite. Another way to join in the fundraising fun is Ritorno’s exclusive LoungeAid cocktail ‘Golden Hour’, with £1 from the price of each cocktail donated to TAP for Bristol. To make it even easier, you can also just tap and donate £3 on the contactless donation point in the bar.
TAP for Bristol is a way of giving money to help solve homelessness in Bristol, ensuring that your donation goes directly to those who need it. You’ll find donation points located in the windows of businesses and contactless devices in offices, cafes and bars around the centre, allowing you to make a simple, secure contactless donation of £3 per tap.
Lounge is a true Bristol success story. Growing from the first site in South Bristol, there are now over 250 Lounges nationwide. Ritorno is a flagship Lounge, based on Bristol’s Harbourside. You can expect delicious food and drinks all day and can even hire The Caraboo Room, a private hire space perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, meetings and corporate events.
