Love Bristol, Love Broadmead
Love Bristol, Love Broadmead is a Bristol BID led partnership programme delivering new ways to connect with the city's shopping district. We invite everyone to get involved and help improve this important part of our city
Broadmead is at the heart of Bristol’s city centre – a place where people shop, work and meet every day. Like many high streets, it has faced challenges. While long-term regeneration plans progress, the everyday experience of the area still matters.
Love Bristol, Love Broadmead is an extensive programme led by us here at Bristol BID to deliver visible improvements, strengthen partnerships and invite the whole city to take pride in this important part of Bristol. Because if you love a place, you look after it.
Why we’re taking action… and why you should join us!
Working with businesses and city partners, we’ve identified clear priorities – from cleanliness and maintenance to perceptions of safety and pride of place.
In partnership with Bristol City Council, Avon & Somerset Police and Bristol Waste, we’re delivering:
- Tangible improvements to streets and public spaces
- Stronger collaboration with businesses and community groups
- Increased positive visibility for Broadmead
- Opportunities for people to get involved
This is about making change at street level. Now.
Global Broadmead
Delivered from 1 June – 26 July, Global Broadmead will celebrate the variety of international restaurants, cafés, and shops that make Broadmead a vibrant destination. The campaign will kick off with the International Cultural Festival at Sparks before spotlighting the range of global flavours and retail on offer in the area, inviting visitors to eat, drink and shop their way around the world.
International Cultural Festival 2026
The International Cultural Festival returns to Sparks Bristol on Saturday 6 June, bringing a free day of live music, dance, workshops, food, fashion and family activities to Broadmead. Supported by Bristol BID as part of the Love Bristol, Love Broadmead campaign, the festival celebrates international communities, independent businesses and cultures that help shape the city centre.
