Carmen Ceesay

Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) Manager

Our Retail Rangers support Bristol BID business community in dealing with anti-social issues and crime reduction. Working closely with the police and stores’ own security teams, they are fully committed to making the BID area a safer place to work, shop and socialise.

The team is comprised of four rangers who contribute 120 hours a week across areas of the city centre, including Broadmead, Redcliffe, and Park Street and Queen’s Road.

In 2025, the rangers have recovered goods to the value of £41,161.

In 2024, the rangers recovered goods to the value of £67,125.

In 2023, the rangers recovered goods to the value of £37,686.

This is just one measurement of the great work the rangers do, with many more incidents of shop theft completely prevented.

You can contact the Retail Rangers via the security radio if you have one in your store.
