Love Bristol Gift Card – 12 Days of Bristmas Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By entering the Love Bristol Gift Card “12 Days of Bristmas” competition, you agree to these terms and conditions. The competition is run by Bristol BID (collectively, “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents or any third party professionally associated with the competition are not eligible. Only one entry per person is permitted. By entering, you confirm you meet the eligibility criteria.

3. How to enter

  • The competition runs from Tuesday 18th November to Wednesday 24th December 2025.
  • To enter, purchase a Love Bristol Gift Card within this period and complete the entry form at the point of purchase.
  • Each qualifying gift card purchase equals one entry.
  • No additional entry fee applies.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, incomplete or corrupted entries, or technical issues.

4. The prizes

There will be 12 winners, each receiving a unique, bespoke Bristol experience that cannot be purchased elsewhere. These may include but are not limited to:

  • A backstage viewing experience at the Bristol Old Vic
  • A ground-floor 3x3m mural from a Bristol street artist or £2,500 in UPFEST gallery vouchers
  • A guest cameo on stage or radio
  • A hot air balloon ride over Bristol (weather permitting)
  • A backstage access to a live show at Bristol Beacon, winner can choose from a range of shows available – to be agreed in advance with the venue
  • A private tour on an iconic Bristol Ferry for up to 20 people.

Each experience is assigned by the Promoter and cannot be chosen by the winner. Experiences are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and have no cash alternative.

If unforeseen circumstances arise, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value. Mention of specific venues, artists or brands does not imply official endorsement or partnership.

5. Winner selection and notification

  • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries after the closing date.
  • The draw will take place on 19th January 2026.
  • Winners will be notified via email using the contact details provided.
  • If a winner does not respond within 14 days of a second contact attempt, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.

6. Prize fulfilment

  • Experiences will be scheduled between 19th January to Wednesday 31st December 2026, depending on availability.
  • Winners must be available on the agreed date for their experience.
  • Travel, accommodation or additional costs are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.

Please allow up to 14 days after confirmation for coordination and fulfilment.

7. Data protection and publicity

  • Your personal data will be used solely for administering this competition and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • By entering, you consent to the Promoter using your name and general location (e.g. “Jane from Bristol”) in publicity (e.g. press releases, social media, website content).
  • Winners may be asked to take part in promotional activity related to their prize (e.g. photography or interviews), for which no compensation will be provided.
  • All personal data will be deleted or anonymised once the competition has ended and winners have been contacted. Entrant details will not be retained or used for marketing purposes.

8. Content and IP

Winners grant the Promoter a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use any photographs, video or written testimonials captured during their experience for marketing or PR purposes, across any platform.

9. Liability

The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants in connection with the competition or any prize, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or breach of statutory duty.
The Promoter is also not responsible for any technical issues, delays or disruptions that may affect participation or communication.

10. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition and its terms at any time.
  • These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
