Throwline training

Avon Fire & Rescue Service, in partnership with Bristol BID are offering free throwline training to businesses that are based around Bristol’s waterways and anyone interested in learning lifesaving skills.

Come along to this hands-on session to learn how to rescue someone if they have fallen into the water. You will have the opportunity to practice the technique of using a throwline in a simulated rescue set up.

You will also learn about the potential risk that the harbour water may pose and how to get someone the help they need if you come across someone who has fallen in.
