These sessions focus on practical, real-world solutions, supporting businesses to run more resilient, responsible operations while staying commercially viable. Designed for busy operators, each event creates space to share honest experiences, learn from peers, network and explore what’s actually working across Bristol’s food and drink scene.
Hospitality for our community
This event will explore the deep-rooted relationship between Bristol’s hospitality businesses, community organisations, charities, and the people they support.
Hearing from a panel of experts, including Josh Eggleton (The Pony, Team Canteen), Kari Halford (Bristol Beer Factory) and Jodie Smith (Heart of BS13) we will delve into the questions, challenges and reasons why supporting your community matters. Aiming to encourage discussion around motivations and rewards for supporting communities from within the backdrop of an increasingly pressure-filled hospitality sector.
Free connection lunch
With community on the forefront of our minds and knowing that there is no better way to deepen community connections than through food. We are inviting all in attendance to join us for a free lunch to continue to share ideas and experiences whilst also sharing delicious food.
The buffet-style lunch will be provided by the exceptional team at Jikoni, taking us on a culinary adventure around East Africa. We will transform the event space back into their beautiful restaurant for us all to enjoy and experience together. Please ensure you let us know you plan to attend this part of the event when registering.
