Getting started with climate action can feel overwhelming, particularly for smaller organisations. To help organisations on their way, Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership, with their consultancy partner Eunomia, have developed the Getting Started programme.

It consists of three group workshops with tasks to complete in-between, to provide participants with a solid grounding in the steps needed to start taking effective climate action. The workshop topics are:

  • Jargon busting and demystification: Monday 11 May, 1:45 – 4.45pm
  • Measuring and monitoring carbon footprint: Monday 15 June, 1:45 – 5pm
  • Creating a climate action plan and setting targets: Monday 6 July, 1:45 – 4.45pm

Participants will finish the programme with a carbon footprint baseline and an understanding of how to create a climate action plan and their next steps.

The programme is limited to a small group of organisations, with each able to send up to two members of staff.  SMEs that have not yet started with climate action and are committed to taking the first steps, and those that are in the Bristol BID area will be prioritised.

Please register your interest by 17 April, 12pm.
