Festival of Nature returned to Bristol in June 2025 for another week of in-person and online events for all ages, with film screenings, guest appearances, arts and crafts, experiments, screenings, walks, talks, tours, exhibitions, music, and so much more.
Organised by The Natural History Consortium and once more sponsored by Bristol City Centre and Redcliffe & Temple BIDs, 2025 was the festival’s 22nd year. It has grown from a single-site event in Bristol to a major cultural moment across the West of England, attracting over 30,000 visitors each year and inspiring similar events around the country.
2025’s celebration featured more than 80 online and in-person events, most of which are free. This year’s theme was ‘water’ and the festival featured the UK’s first ever pop-up wetland in Millennium Square with WWT, the charity for wetlands and wildlife, bringing one of the planet’s most important ecosystems to the heart of the city.
