Spike Island Public Realm Consultation Event
A public realm consultation event following our welcoming of Spike Island within the BID boundary in November
Book now
As of November 2025, Bristol BID has welcomed Spike Island into its expanded boundary, and this workshop forms part of our work to understand local priorities and opportunities.
Our workshop will bring together local businesses to share ideas and priorities for the future of Spike Island’s public realm, including opportunities for greening, public art and the use of shared spaces. The discussion will help inform Bristol BID’s Green Infrastructure Action Plan and guide how our funding, projects and partnerships can support this part of the city.
The session is also an opportunity for businesses in Spike Island to meet one another, build connections and understand how Bristol BID can support future activity in the area.
Refreshments will be provided, along with time for discussion and networking. Following the end of the workshop at 11:30 am, attendees are invited to join an optional 30-minute guided tour of the Spike Island gallery.
This event forms part of Spike Island Studio’s Sustainability Week and sits alongside a wider programme of talks, activities and screenings.
