Final ‘12 Days of Bristmas’ prizes revealed – from Wake the Tiger’s London preview to a private Pizzarova party
Bristol BID’s festive prize campaign wraps up with four exclusive, one-of-a-kind local experiences
The final exclusive prizes have been revealed as part of 12 Days of Bristmas – the festive prize draw from Bristol Business Improvement District (BID) celebrating the people, places and independent spirit that make the city unique.
Running throughout December, 12 Days of Bristmas invites people to purchase a Love Bristol Gift Card for the chance to win one-of-a-kind, money-can’t-buy experiences. The campaign is designed to champion Bristol’s independent businesses while encouraging people to keep their Christmas spend local.
Earlier prize reveals included a bespoke mural by UPFEST, a private ferry tour of the city, a paddle-powered dinner party with SUP Bristol and AQUA, and backstage access at Bristol Beacon and the Hippodrome.
Now, Bristol BID has unveiled the final four experiences completing the festive prize line-up:
One winner will step back in time with a privately guided walking tour of iconic Park Street, exploring its Georgian origins, cultural heritage and hidden histories. The experience includes lunch for four at St George’s and a behind the scenes tour of this two hundred year old former church, now a world class independent music venue famous for its unique acoustics.
For anyone curious about the inner workings of one of the city’s most-read platforms, this is the chance to become editor for a day. The winner will join the Bristol24/7 team to help shape content, pitch ideas, write articles and let the team know what they should be doing more of. The editor’s word is final and this is one winner’s chance to see how Bristol’s biggest stories come to life.
In a rare opportunity, one winner will receive early-access tickets to Wake The Tiger’s new immersive experience in London – ahead of its public opening. Transport will be covered thanks to Great Western Railway (GWR), giving the winner a chance to see Bristol’s creative influence lighting up the capital.
Food lovers can host their own sourdough and pizza-making party at Pizzarova, complete with frozen margaritas and space for up to 12 friends. This hands-on event is a celebration of Bristol’s incredible food scene and local hospitality.
At the heart of the campaign is the Love Bristol Gift Card, accepted by over 190 local businesses – from retailers and restaurants to salons and cultural venues. Each card purchased directly supports Bristol’s economy during its busiest trading season.
To enter, shoppers simply need to purchase a Love Bristol Gift Card by midnight on Tuesday 24th December and complete the entry form at checkout. Each gift card purchase counts as one entry into the prize draw.
Anna Farthing, Interim Head of Place at Bristol BID, said:
“From pizza parties to private previews, these final four prizes capture Bristol’s creative spirit and community energy. 12 Days of Bristmas is about giving back to the city - while making it easier for people to shop local this Christmas.”Jack Lander from Pizzarova, added:
“Pizzarova's time in Bristol has always been about coming together over great food and this prize is exactly that. We’re excited to welcome a group for a joy-filled experience that’s all about sharing knowledge, laughs and seriously good pizza.”12 Days of Bristmas forms part of Bristol BID’s wider festive programme, which also includes the city-wide Winter Lights Trail, expanded Christmas lighting across the city centre and a programme of events designed to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere throughout the season.
