Dr Bike
Sabrina Shutter
Senior Events Project Manager
We’ve teamed up with Life Cycle to deliver a regular programme of Dr Bike sessions across the city centre. Our Dr Bike sessions encourage sustainable travel and help our community stay safe on the road.
Our regular sessions take place monthly at Glass Wharf, Finzels Reach, and Bristol Beacon, Dr Bike is a free pop-up session providing a 30-minute bike safety check. The friendly Life Cycle mechanic will service key components, including adjusting or replacing brake blocks, tuning gears, and fixing punctures. Slots are available throughout the day to suit your schedule. Simply book a slot, drop off your bike, and the Life Cycle mechanic will do the rest to ensure you are safe on the road. These sessions are open to anyone working in city centre area.
As of March 2025, over 3,500 bikes have been serviced thanks to our Dr Bike project.
